Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity is not one trick — it is a discipline of assuming every request, input, and user might be hostile, and building so the app survives that anyway. This overview covers the handful of ideas that show up in almost every real breach, before you move into the hands-on SecureBuild modules below.
Slide 1 of 4
Start by knowing what you are protecting
Security work starts with a plain inventory, not a list of attack tools: user accounts, private messages, uploaded files, payment details, and admin controls. For each one, ask who should be allowed to touch it and what actually goes wrong if it leaks or gets changed by the wrong person. Without that list, "secure the app" has no shape — you cannot protect what you have not named.
Assets before attacks
Every serious security process starts the same way: name what is valuable, then work backward to what threatens it — never the other way around.
