DEVMEETSTAY

iDevMeet is a shared space for people who learn, build, and grow through code. Practise programming with guided challenges, turn lessons into real projects, teach through live classrooms, share your screen or code, and meet other developers inside community rooms. Find a coding partner on the other side of the world, or sit in on a live class taught by developers who write code for a living. Everything stays connected so a question can become a conversation, a working solution, or a project you are proud to share.

NEW USER · FIRST SIGNAL

New here? Start here.

04 STEPS TO BEGIN

You can look around without creating an account. When you want to participate, choose a protected display name and move between community rooms, classrooms, learning paths, and shared projects with the same identity.

01

Browse Meet

Explore public rooms as a guest, see what people are discussing, and open a room that feels useful or welcoming.

02

Choose your name

Claim a display name when you are ready to chat, create rooms, save progress, publish code, or contact another learner.

03

Join a Classroom

Pick a classroom to follow lessons, watch recordings, open shared materials, complete assignments, and join a live class.

04

Learn and build

Use Dev Track, coding challenges, AI Lab, and Code Studio to practise a skill and turn it into something you can share.

CLASSROOM · SHARED LEARNING SPACE

Teach, learn, and review in one room.

Classroom connects structured lessons to the people in a live room. A teacher can prepare materials and assignments before a session, teach through screen sharing and room chat, then review submissions afterward. Learners keep the lesson, conversation, feedback, and classmates together instead of jumping between unrelated services.

Explore Classroom

For teachers

  • Share videos, PDFs, files, photos, and code
  • Create assignments with instructions and due dates
  • Run a live screen-sharing class with chat
  • Review submissions and leave feedback

For learners

  • Choose a classroom from the directory
  • Open lessons and replay shared recordings
  • Submit work without leaving the room
  • Ask questions and learn with classmates

NEW SIGNALS · PEOPLE, NOT ONLY PAGES

Two things you cannot do alone.

02 PROGRAMMES OPENING

Tutorials and challenges you can work through by yourself, and iDevMeet has plenty of them. These two are different: both need other people, and both are the reason the rooms are here at all.

PARTNERS · ACROSS TIME ZONES

Find a coding partner anywhere in the world.

Open now · first pairs forming

Learning alone is where most people quietly stop. A partner keeps you honest about the hours you promised yourself, reads the code you would never show a stranger, and turns an evening of debugging into a conversation. iDevMeet is built so that partner can be six time zones away and still feel like they are sitting next to you.

01

Browse who is here

Open People to see every learner on iDevMeet, who is online right now, and what they have been building. Read a profile, diary, and gallery before you say hello.

02

Say hello privately

Start a one-to-one message straight from a profile. No public post, no waiting for a room to go quiet, and no swapping outside contact details before you know each other.

03

Pair on something real

Move into a room and share a screen, write together in Code Studio, or work through the same Dev Track stop at the same time.

04

Survive the time difference

Presence, notifications, and private messages mean a partner in another country can answer when they wake up instead of losing the thread entirely.

LIVE CLASS · TAUGHT BY WORKING DEVELOPERS

The first live class, taught by people who do this for a living.

First class forming · teachers being invited

Classroom already runs live: a teacher shares a screen, the room talks underneath, and assignments and feedback stay in the same place afterwards. What we are adding is who stands at the front. The first iDevMeet live class is being put together with professional and experienced developers teaching in the open — answering the questions a recorded course can never hear.

01

A real person, live

Not a recording. A working developer shares their screen, writes code in front of you, and thinks out loud while they do it.

02

Questions answered in the room

Ask in the room chat while the session is running. The lesson, the questions, and the answers all stay together after it ends.

03

Work reviewed, not just marked

Submit an assignment inside the classroom and get feedback from the person who taught the session.

04

Open to anyone with a name

No interview and no waiting list. Claim a display name, open the classroom, and be in the room when it starts.

08 MODULES ACTIVE

01 · FEATURE

Claim an identity, not an account

Choose a display name and protect it with a name password. Add a profile, status, diary, gallery, and project achievements when you want more memory.

02 · FEATURE

Meet inside live rooms

Join public or protected rooms, share text and images, reply, react, see who is present, and take a break with the room games.

03 · FEATURE

Continue privately

Find people, check their presence, and move into one-to-one messages without exposing private conversations to the room.

04 · FEATURE

Practise before you build

Travel through 133 Dev Track stops: seven reusable skills repeated across 19 project contexts, then build the complete project.

05 · FEATURE

Understand AI, not just use it

Activate 10 AI Lab knowledge nodes with plain-language lessons, small answers, and code labs that explain what models are actually doing.

06 · FEATURE

Keep ideas and help nearby

Save learning notes as you go, and open Mira when you want a private AI sidekick for conversation, questions, or a gentle roast.

07 · FEATURE

Pair across borders

Find a coding partner in another country, message them privately, then share a screen or write code together as if you were in the same room.

08 · FEATURE

Learn from working developers

Sit in on live classes taught by professional and experienced coders, ask your question while the code is still on screen, and get your work reviewed afterwards.

EXPLORE · THE WHOLE PLATFORM

More than a chat room.

08 SYSTEMS CONNECTED

iDevMeet connects the social side of learning with practical tools. A conversation can become a screen-sharing session, a classroom assignment, a coding challenge, a shared project, or a quick game without sending everyone to a different community.

01

LEARN · VISUALLY

Courses

Five self-contained courses that pair plain-language writing with original diagrams, then hand off into hands-on practice where it exists.

  • Machine Learning and Data Training, illustrated then interactive in AI Lab
  • Cybersecurity: the OWASP Top 10, passwords, phishing, firewalls, encryption
  • Ethical Hacking: permission, the pentest process, CTFs, bug bounties
  • Cloud Computing: IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, deployment models, auto-scaling

02

PLAY · TOGETHER

Room games

Games are part of the conversation, not a separate destination. People in the same room can watch, join, and play without losing the chat around them.

  • Live Chess with spectators and board updates
  • Ludo for up to four room players
  • Cowboy Duel reaction rounds
  • Memory, Blackjack, Drawing, and Flower guessing

  • Real validation instead of self-marking
  • Hints when you are stuck
  • Step-by-step explanations and solutions when you give up
